Sakura means Cherry Blossom in Japanese as is derived from saku meaning ‘to bloom’ or alternatively ‘to smile / laugh’. I love all things pink, red and floral and the blooming of cherry blossoms brings a sense of vitality and vibrancy which I like to portray in my product lines and every day life. At the same time their short lifespan is a reminder that life is fleeting and we should value the little things in life.
